  • Yes! All client information, both personal & business, is kept confidential. Inviting an organizer into your personal space can feel somewhat vulnerable, so rest assured that your privacy will be respected. Any use of proprietary client information (such as before & after photos) are used only with the client's permission.

  • Please be assured I will be by your side to help, not judge. My process is full of support, and free of criticism. I applaud you for taking the initiative to get organized & for allowing me the opportunity to help you.

  • I suggest setting aside this time like you would for other types of self-care (a massage, getting your hair done, taking a walk). Be in the moment. Limit your cell phone use, consider having someone watch the kids, minimize distractions so you can concentrate & obtain the full benefits of our time together.

  • Sessions are typically scheduled in 4 hour blocks to prevent burnout & overwhelm. The number of sessions will depend on the size & scope of your project & your willingness & ability to engage in the process. After working together for a single session, I will create a schedule & timeline for completing the project that works for you. You have the option of totally hands-on sessions or a combo of hands-on, coaching & assignments for you to work on in-between sessions. My goal at each session is to help my clients stay on task & at the same time enjoy what can be a very cathartic & therapeutic process.

    As an example of timing, a closet can be completed in one 4-hour session, while an entire garage may take several sessions scheduled over the course of consecutive days or on a fixed day each week til complete. Two sessions can be booked on the same day for really motivated or time-crunched clients. However, I encourage snack & rest breaks, as this work can be physically & emotionally demanding.

  • What stays & what goes is totally your call. I may nudge you in the right direction, after all, I am there to support & assist in every way possible to get that clutter out of your life. But this will always be done in a respectful & supportive way, ensuring an enjoyable experience. I want you to keep the things in your life that give you joy and help you eliminate the rest, quickly and with little stress.

  • For everything that must go we will choose the most eco-friendly disposal, highest-good donation or resale options available locally or online. Every sessions includes one complimentary carload of donations post-session.

  • The initial consult & follow-up evaluation are both complimentary (limited to 30 minutes each).

    Please contact me for my hourly rate & package pricing. Fee does not include products or disposal/shredding/recycling costs.

    Organizing services are an investment in your quality of life. I make every effort to work within a client’s budget by offering creative options, such as scheduling the work out over several weeks or by simply providing a plan of action & assignments ($200) which are then implemented solely by the client. Additionally, clients have the option of totally hands-on sessions or a combo of hands-on with coaching & assignments for them to work on in-between sessions.

  • For all organizing services the fee is due at the start of each session. Payment can be made by check, cash, credit card or Venmo. Please make checks payable to Simplify, Ltd. NSF checks are assessed a $25 fee.

  • Yes! For the person who already has it all, what better gift than the gift of time? This is a great option for newlyweds, busy moms, as a housewarming gift, or just to lighten someone’s load when they are feeling overwhelmed. Gift Certificates can be purchased for any amount and applied toward any service. Email me for details.

  • No items are ever discarded without the client’s review & approval. Simplify Professional Organizing (Simplify, Ltd.) is insured against loss or damage. Certificate of Insurance available upon request.

  • Organizing can be a daunting and time-consuming project. Do you realistically have the time, energy or desire to do it yourself? A professional organizer not only saves you time by doing the hard work for you, but they can be invaluable in helping you make objective decisions & helping you stay on task & focused throughout the organizing process, encouraging you to see the project through to the finish.
